Shao Hanjun Attends 2nd Legal Seminar of Chinese Buddhism Temples

Recently, the second session of the Chinese Buddhist famous
temple legal issues seminar was held in the Emei Mountain Buddha
successfully. Vice president of Chinese Buddhism Association, Chairman
of Sichuan Buddhist Association, Chairman of Leshan City Buddhist
Association, Chairman of Emei Mountain Buddhist Association Yongshou
monk, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Buddhist Association Lu
Xun, Director of Sichuan Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee
of Ethnic Religious Affairs Commission Wang Zengjian ,
Secretary-General of Sichuan Provincial Buddhist Association Wang Lijun,
Leshan City People's Ethnic Religious Affairs Bureau, Emeishan City
CPPCC, Emei Mountain Management Committee and from Zhejiang, Jiangsu,
Hunan, Guangxi, Sichuan and other famous mountain temple legal advisers,
law firms and other institutions and Representatives attended the
meeting.
Lawyer Shao Hanjun of our firm was a perennial legal counselor
of the Putuo Mountain Buddhist Association and was invited to attend
this seminar. Shao Hanjun attached great importance to the subject of
"the legal relationship between monasteries and scenic areas, management
institutions and the management of the monasteries and the development
of the legal practice". He also made a preliminary discussion on the fit
dimensions between "Buddhism" and "law" and the Development of several
legal issues, ". Lawyer Shao Hanjun analyzed the potential connection
between the clean world and the rule of law society, and discusses the
important legal issues in the development of our country monastery with
the real case. Lawyer Shao Hanjun from his own understanding and
sentiment of Buddhism and the law, he put forward: whether it is the
Buddhism or the law,they are both the same thing , all for the people of

love, the law emphasized the impetus of the rule of law, the
construction of legal society sometimes should use love and compassion
to absorb, and sometimes need the conquering by the force. Only love,
compassion, may not obedient by people; just use force to sanction, also
not convincing. It will be a good way to build the "harmonious society"
if we use love and force . Shao Hanjun's wonderful speech was highly
praised by the president of Emei Mountain Buddhism Association, Yongshou
monk and other participants. Emeishan Buddhism net and Linyin Temple
official media also made a corresponding report on the wonderful
speeches at the seminar.
How to integrate religious development into the legal system in accordance with the Party's religious policies and state religious affairs, protect the legitimate rights and interests of religious organizations and religious facilities, and properly handle religious affairs so as to achieve the goal of healthy and steady development of religious undertakings, were the important issue of urgency to construct the legal society. The second session of the famous Buddhist temple in China Symposium on the legal issues held smoothly, further clarify the relationship between religion and law, which had a realistic and positive significance for the legal development of our religion.
